First Rule of Gk2Gk: you do not talk about Gk2Gk!
Gender:  Male
Looking For:  Female
Age:  18
Location:  Boston, Massachusetts, US
My height is:  6 feet 0 inches
183 cm
Description:
I'm amiable, sociable, and like to think I'm funny and pleasant to be around. I am quite a big gamer, having a tendency to get lost for long stretches in the world of Civ4 or unwinding with a Mortal Kombat or Tekken title. My gaming love is exceeded only by my movie buffery, I love the filmmaking art in all its forms. Good or bad, classic or mindless, I'll watch them and then discuss opinions on it afterwords. To top all THAT off, I am also quite a big book geek, still holding onto my love for all things Tolkien and Kafka. As such, I'm quite open to long, in-depth conversations about most aspects of literature or philosophy (I confess to being something of an amateur armchair philosopher). I do love my Sci-Fi, including Star Wars (and believe me, I've got a LOT of opinions on that series, including the EU), and Firefly are two that spring to mind. I honestly don't know much about the anime or manga scene, really never having been exposed to it, but I've got a very open mind and an eagerness to learn new things from new people.

Love my music, rock in particular with a bit of a metal or alternative twist. I'm a big fan of Blind Guardian, Jethro Tull, Laibach and Disturbed (and I won't hold it against you if you've never heard of the first three). I'll also put on a Doors song pretty often. Like most other things, I'm very happy to talk about music, and have no problems with any other musical styles other people might prefer.

But, I'm getting carried away. I'm something of a wit, or at least fancy myself one, so I try to lighten up and find the humorous side of bad situations, if you can accept the slightly cynical edge a lot of my opinions and comments are going to have. I'm extremely open-minded (having lived most of my life in Eastern Europe, I like to think I've garnered a good respect for and understanding of other opinions and practices) and very good at listening when someone else needs to talk or wants to express their own opinion. I'm very patient and deferential to other people's wants, and am quite happy in almost any social situation, so I'm the kind of guy who could either take you clubbing, out to a nice place for dinner, or simply kick back and play the PS3 with you entirely on impulse based on what you're wanting to do. However my nature is pretty impulsive and my plans constantly changing, I like to call it, "going with the flow" and not taking anything in life TOO seriously.

I'm just looking to meet some interesting geeky girls (there not exactly being so many on campus) for whatever. Just exchanging texts, simple friendship, going out to dinner or just someone to add to the Friends list on PSN, I have no set interests or expectations from this site.

And, if you haven't noticed yet, I'm a bit of rambler and a tad long-winded.
Match Description:
I'd like to meet someone smart, patient who shares a lot of my interests. That is, someone passionate about games, movies, books, philosophy (politics and religion are nice too), and enjoys wiling the time away discussing them. I appreciate people who are assertive and challenging. Someone who appreciates a good dinner out at a nice restaurant, and equally enjoys some rounds of Mortal Kombat (or any 2-player game, but it'd be nice to meet another serious MK fan) or a good movie afterwords.

Book  The Trial by Kafka. Lord of the Rings is up in there, as is The Castle (also by Kafka). But I can't leave out Brave New World or 1984... ach, there be so many!
Movie  Dr. Strangelove. Followed by Lawrence of Arabia (I'm a sucker for the classics), probably followed by Empire Strikes Back. But I got to give props to Fight Club, and A Clockwork Orange, there's also The Seven Samurai and Way of the Dragon. Damn, I cannot pick the best in a category...
Video Game  Civilization 4 and 3. Every Mortal Kombat title (all of them from the very original to MKvsDC have their strong merits) or Tekken title. I also adore World In Conflict and Evil Genius. I also love RPGs, including anything in the Elder Scrolls series or KotOR... I'm the first to admit I suck at picking favorites.
Are you willing to relocate to be with someone you meet here?  No
