Hi! If I had to describe myself in one sentence, I’d say that I fancy myself an amalgamation of Lloyd Dobler from the movie, Say Anything, and (a less intelligent) Leonard Hofstadter from the TV show, Big Bang Theory. I am basically a WYSIWYG kind of guy. I am shy and quiet by nature, but very easygoing and open to new experiences and adventures.

I love all kinds of SciFi and Fantasy. My favorites are Star Trek, Doctor Who, and The Wheel of Time book series. Other interests include cooking, water skiing, jogging, and tinkering with computers. I am also perpetually stuck in the 80's when it comes to music. Mostly Alternative, Punk, new wave, and ska (I was a bit of a skate-punk anarchist in my youth).

I earned a BA in English from Penn State back in 2002 that went to waste over the years, but since returning from a twelve month deployment in Iraq with my National Guard unit, fate has given me a chance to finally put my dreams back on the fast track. I plan to attend Clarion University in the Fall for my high school teacher certification so I can teach full-time and force kids to read Shakespeare till their eyes bleed. Right now I am passing time as a substitute teacher at the local Catholic school in DuBois, PA as well as doing the one weekend a month thing with the PA Army National Guard.

My priority in life, however, is taking care of my children. They are the universe in which I exist. I have three beautiful kids. My Step-son is 11, but I don’t get to see him as often as I’d like since he, unfortunately, went to live with his biological father after my breakup with his mom.
