Hi, there! I'm a nerd/geek/dork and very proud of it. I love Science Fiction and Fantasy, specifically Star Wars and Star Trek (tho I suppose that only satisfies the scifi category....) Old school cartoons rock, as does anime. I read a lot (my personal library consists of well over 700 books), and enjoy playing games on my computer (WoW, anyone? I mostly play Alliance,) I like to have fun, but I'm not a partier or a crowd person.

My interests are very diverse, including, but not limited to: reading, writing, art, music, hiking, biking, camping, anything Japanese(and I mean anything: anime, geisha, kimono, language, general culture, etc.), Star Trek, Star Wars, cars, SCA (tho I've never been to a meeting, it looks fascinating!), and Cosplay/costuming.

Now the downside, since everyone has faults... and I keep getting asked if I'm real because I seem too good to be true. I'm not terribly good with conversation, in that I can't initiate and keep one going (but I have no problem putting in my two cents if I feel the need), and I have a tendency to put my foot in my mouth on a somewhat regular basis. I don't mean to, it just happens. I'm not a touchy-feely person, tho I will eventually tolerate it from certain people.

I have dark brown hair and grey-green eyes, and am usually quick to laugh and smile. Shy at first, I warm up fairly quickly, and then, when I get going on one of my interests, I like to talk, though I'm not usually too bad at listening, either.
