Thought I should update my profile since it’s been a while.

Here recently I've graduated from Texas State Technical College with my Associate degree in computer science for video game programming. I have to say it was definitely something that consumed my life for a while and now I'm free, so to speak. Now that school is over I keep myself busy looking for jobs and getting reacquainted with video games. Yeah as odd as that sounds when you go to school to learn how to make them, you have little time to play them. So for now I'm on an extended break so to speak after attending a year round college. Even with that said I'm looking into getting my Bachelor Degree online to finish off my career in school while I look for work and get reacquainted with the world away from my computer desk.

If you can't tell by reading thus far most of my life has been pushing toward this point and the last few years of my life have been lived under a rock due to my studies. With all that said and done though, I've wanted to make video games for a majority of my life and finally I have a piece of paper that says I can. Sadly most companies prefer the more expensive versions. Video games have been a passion of mine since I was little and I enjoy playing a wide variety. As cliché as it may be I still consider Final Fantasy 7 one of the greatest games of all time. I consider myself and old school gamer back before video games were cool. I’m even enough of a nerd that I carry around a wallet made to look like a Nintendo Controller.

I enjoy playing games when I have the time, ranging from board games to consoles to computer games, and everything in between. I also like to get out and do stuff from going swimming, to camping, fishing, and hunting. I was raised as a "country boy" and still have most of those qualities but I'm a nerd at heart and love my electronic "toys". I have a love for anime and when I am bored at my place I'm watching some random anime online while I try to find a new one to get into.

I'd like to think I'm a nice guy and have been told so repeatedly by many of my friends. At the same time I'm level headed, "straight to the point", honest, and driven. I've been told I'm a horrible liar so I do not bother lying. I prefer the truth and honesty of life upfront so that it can be dealt with. Instead of being lead along or lied too, if you’re a compulsive liar or "cheater" move on.

I'm often the quiet one till I get to know people and their boundaries after that I've been called "the loud one". I'm a romantic at heart and enjoy going out on "dates" to see movies or any other crazy idea I can come up with to get out of the house. Staying in to cook and watch movies on the couch is also something I enjoy.

I'm trying to find that someone who is willing to fit into my crazy life as it is right now, if not now someone who can put up with me. I've been busy the past few years while attending school to get my Associate Degree in computer programming and now that I have it I have a lot to do still. I'm looking for someone to hang out with, preferably someone who likes to play games or enjoys anime. Someone who doesn't mind to stay in on a Sunday lounging on the couch after going out Saturday night. A girl who doesn't mind getting out to enjoy life but also enjoys hiding from the world under the covers on a lazy day. Those lacking in personality need not apply, the ability to laugh at life’s speed bumps, and a smile are a must.
